Incorrectly registered land plots to be recognized as ownerless from 2025 and transferred to communities
In Ukraine, after January 1, 2025, all unclaimed land plots will be recognized as ownerless, they will be transferred to the municipal ownership of the territorial community in which they are located, Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitalization Denys Bashlyk has said.
"In accordance with Part 4 and Part 5 of Article 13 of the Law of Ukraine "On the procedure for allocating land plots in kind (on the ground) to owners of land shares (plots)", if before January 1, 2025 the owner of an unclaimed land share (plot) or his heir did not register ownership of the land plot, they are considered to have refused to receive the land plot," he explained on Facebook.
The Deputy Minister advised everyone who has certificates for a land share (unit) that have not been replaced with an extract from the Register of Property Rights to ownership of the land plot to urgently register ownership.
