Zelenskyy on conference call reviews situation with blocking of Polish border: Our next steps to be very soon
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a conference call on Wednesday with members of the government and heads of ministries, the key topic of which was the situation with the blockade of Polish farmers on the Polish-Ukrainian border.
"Held a conference call. Today, in addition to daily topics, there is a blockade on the Polish border. With officials – Deputy Prime Minister Olha Stefanishyna, Ministers Dmytro Kuleba, Oleksandr Kubrakov, Mykola Solsky – we analyzed the situation in detail and determined our next steps. They will be very quickly," the president said in Telegram channel.
Zelenskyy said trade liberalization with the European Union must continue.
"And I am grateful to the clear position of the European Commission. Our unity must also be strong for the sake of common security and the security of all countries threatened by Russian aggression. Situational interests have no right to shake it," he said.
Also during the selector meeting, the head of state heard a detailed report from Defense Minister Rustem Umerov on the supply of ammunition, weapons, electronic warfare systems, drones to the front and a report from Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky on the situation in each area.
In addition, the president was presented with a report from the Main Intelligence Agency of the Ministry of Defense and the Foreign Intelligence Service.
Separately, the selector participants reviewed the situation with eliminating the consequences of Russian strikes in the regions, helping people and the further development of multi-level protection of critical facilities in the front-line and border areas.
