Zelenskyy, Servant of the People faction discuss situation at front, in economy – Arakhamia
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the Servant of the People faction discussed the situation at the front and in the economy, as well as partners' assistance, Head of the Servant of the People faction David Arakhamia has said.
"We raised the most important issues for our Victory – the front, the economy, assistance from our partners, preservation of unity in the society. And, hence, the tasks for the parliament and MPs in these directions. We have a lot of work to do. However, from the very beginning of the full-scale invasion, the parliament showed its capability of coping with the most complicated tasks. We will keep up with this pace until Victory," he said on the Telegram channel following the meeting with the head of state on Wednesday.
According to Arakhamia, the purpose of the meeting is to synchronize "all our efforts and strengthen individual areas of work." He noted that before Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, such "strategic sessions" were held every year.
"This is normal practice for all big teams," he said.
Arakhamia also said that "the meeting attracted a lot of media attention, since this is the first meeting in a large format since the beginning of the full-scale invasion."
"But I want to refute all conspiracy theories in advance. It was planned at the end of last year, but the president's schedule allowed it to be carried out only now," Arakhamia said.
Spokesperson for the Servant of the People faction Yulia Paliychuk told Interfax-Ukraine that Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak, Verkhovna Rada Chairman Ruslan Stefanchuk and his first deputy Oleksandr Korniyenko were present at the faction's meeting with Zelenskyy.
