The State Emergency Service received from the British company a mounted module for the Armtrack 400 mine clearance machine.

According to a message posted on Facebook, the most experienced special forces scouts were sent to defend Antonov. Budanov reported to the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, data on the situation on the battlefield in Hostomel, which he received from his units involved in the defense of the airfield.

"It is clear that people who see dozens of helicopters shooting in their direction are not entirely happy," Budanov said.

It is indicated that units of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine launched a counterattack against the Russian occupiers in the afternoon of February 24. As a result, about 80 enemy paratroopers were eliminated in battle by the end of the night.

"Further, the runway of the airfield was damaged by Ukrainian artillery in order to make it impossible for military transport aircraft of the aggressor state to land," the report says.

The GUR notes that the battle for the airfield in Hostomel disrupted the Moscow Blitzkrieg and defeated the intentions of the Russian Federation to occupy Kyiv "in three days."
