Russia gathering another group of troops near our border, preparing offensive 90 km from Kharkiv to northwest – Zelenskyy
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russia is gathering another group of troops near the Ukrainian border and is preparing to attempt offensive actions 90 km from Kharkiv to the northwest.
"Literally now, these days, we are defending 60 km in the northeast - from this place to the next attempt at a Russian offensive. Russia is preparing for an offensive attempt and 90 km from here to the northwest - near our border - another group of troops is gathering," the president said in an address published on his Telegram channel on Sunday.
As Zelenskyy emphasized, "the one who does all this does not want peace."
Two weeks ago, the Russian army attempted to break through the Ukrainian border in Vovchansk area. The defense forces repelled the attack. The previous day, the President of Ukraine announced that the losses of the Russian military amounted to eight people per Ukrainian serviceman.
