Stefanchuk calls on Ukraine's partners to lift all restrictions on use of Western weapons on Russian territory
Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk has called on Ukraine's partners to lift all restrictions on the use of Western weapons on the territory of the Russian Federation.
"Today I spoke at the Summit of the Heads of Parliaments of Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Ukraine, the theme of which is: ‘The role of Poland, the Baltic States and Ukraine in strengthening security in Europe’ ... Russian troops continue to put pressure on the entire front line, and especially in the north of Kharkiv region. Effective protection of Kharkiv and countering Russian offensive operations are impossible without defeating the concentration sites and logistics of the aggressor group located on the territory of the Russian Federation. For effective protection, it is critically necessary to lift any ban on the use of Western weapons on Russian territory, he stressed this," Stefanchuk said on Facebook on Tuesday.
According to the speaker, in his speech he also noted the need to strengthen air defense to protect Kharkiv.
As reported, on June 10-11, Stefanchuk is paying a working visit to Bialystok (Poland), where he is taking part in the summit of speakers of the parliaments of Poland, the Baltic States and Ukraine.
