Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky held a working meeting with the participation of the most successful commanders of UAV combat units and announced the existence of a clear plan for the development of the field of unmanned systems.

"Had another working meeting with the participation of the most successful commanders of UAV combat units - Madyar, Achilles, Pharmacist, Flint, Smoke, Charlie, Guru, K-2 and others. Some commanders joined us online in the field," Syrsky wrote on his Facebook page on Friday.

According to him, unmanned systems are one of the most dynamic areas where changes occur every day, and Ukraine has no right to lag behind even a step. "There is a clear action plan. Collaborative work continues," he wrote.

Syrsky noted that in the realities of modern combat operations, the number of kills by drones is on par with artillery, which makes drones one of the priorities for troops.

"Our task is to be technologically one step ahead of the enemy both in defeating drones and in protecting against them. But the most important task of technology and innovation is to preserve the lives of our military," the commander-in-chief emphasized.
