The film has already begun to garner international acclaim since its official premiere at the 2025 Raindance Film Festival in London. It was recently awarded The Jury Special Prize and the prestigious AMADE Prize at the Monte Carlo Television Festival (2025). Today, the film has already been recognized with over 5 different awards. This documentary is more than a film, it is a call for action.

Additionally, Children In The Fire is being shown through a series of parliamentary screenings, helping to generate meaningful visibility in influential spaces - proving to be a powerful way of driving awareness and impact.

“Today, only children’s voices can awaken the minds and hearts of politicians and the public. We are all parents and more than anything we want to see a healthy smile and a future for our kids. That is why I decided to bring a spotlight to the children and to give them a voice through the large cinematic screen. My hero - characters representing thousands and thousands of kids. My little heroes found the strength to survive and move forward. Their stories have the power to change lives and call for action.” - Evgeny Afineevsky
