From Class to Work: New Opportunities for Businesses and Candidates
The Business Development Fund is implementing the free workforce retraining initiative "From Class to Work."
The goal of the Project is to provide businesses with qualified employees who have completed retraining in professional, pre-tertiary, or vocational education institutions, as well as to create opportunities for practical training directly at enterprises ready to employ new staff.
In addition, the Project fully covers the cost of training and provides companies with a €300 reimbursement per candidate for mentorship during the practical training phase.
Who can participate?
Enterprises of all forms of ownership (except individual entrepreneurs) that require employees in the following professions are eligible to participate:
welder, electrician, mechanic, machine operator, turner, plumber, logistician, road worker, assembler, gardener, healthcare worker, driver of agricultural machinery, truck driver, forklift operator, or category D driver.
Businesses across all sectors of economic activity (according to NACE) may apply, with priority given to the following industries:
- construction
- transport and logistics
- agriculture
- services

For candidates
The Project opens the door to new professional opportunities, including:
- free training or retraining to acquire a new profession;
- obtaining a sought-after qualification in the labor market;
- real employment opportunities with decent pay.
The Project is implemented with the financial support of the European Union, Germany, Poland, Estonia, and Denmark under the Multi-Donor Initiative “Skills4Recovery”, carried out by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and the Solidarity Fund PL (SFPL).
