Ukrainian Paralympics team wins 12 more medals
Paralympics Ukrainian team has won 12 medals on the fourth day of competitions in Rio: 6 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals, the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine wrote on its official Facebook page.
Champions of Paralympics Games have become: Leilia Adzhametova in the women’s 100 metres run, Roman Polianskyi in rowing, Oleksii Fedyn in the 100 metres brace swimming, Denys Dubrov in the 200 metres swimming and Natalia Kosmina in table tennis.
Silver winners are: Zoia Ovsii (club throwing), Viktoriia Savtsova (100 meters breaststroke swimming) and Maksym Krypak (200 meters swimming).
Bronze medals of Ukrainian team were brought by Dmytro Prudnikov in the long jump, Dmytro Vanzenko in 200 meters swimming and Serhii Palamarchuk in the 200 meters freestyle swimming.
Thus, at the end of four days of competition, the Ukrainian team has won 49 medals: 18 gold, 13 silver and 18 bronze medals. This has brought Ukraine to the third place both in the team event, and in the number of gold medals.
