Uklon ride-hailing service increases user base by 40% in 1 year

Ride-hailing service Uklon recorded 3.5 million monthly active users (MAUs) in June 2025, a 40% increase compared to June 2024, according to a presentation by Kyivstar Group Ltd., which since April this year has owned 97% of Uklon.
The presentation stated that in the first half of 2025, 83 million rides were booked, up 19.6% from the same period in 2024, while completed deliveries increased by 35.0% to 2.2 million.
Earlier, VEON, Kyivstar's parent company, reported that in Q2 2025, Uklon generated $21.7 million in revenue and $9.3 million in EBITDA, with 41.2 million rides and 1.1 million deliveries completed. The new presentation notes that in local currency, Q2 revenue reached UAH 903 million, while EBITDA amounted to UAH 385 million.
The presentation also recalled that Uklon posted $67 million in revenue in 2024, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 29% over the past four years. Last year, the company facilitated over 100 million rides and 3 million deliveries. Uklon worked with more than 100,000 partner drivers across 29 cities, and in 2023, it entered the Uzbek market.
"Cross-selling opportunities are expected to boost the penetration of multi-play services among Kyivstar customers," the presentation stated.
As reported, Kyivstar, Ukraine's largest mobile operator, acquired 97% of Uklon for $155 million.
Between April and June 2025, Kyivstar increased consolidated EBITDA by 23.5% year-on-year to UAH 6.9 billion, while revenue rose 25.8% to UAH 1.86 billion, driven by significant growth in telecommunications and digital technology segments.
