Liliia Kovalova

breast specialist, oncologist, and oncological surgeon with 22 years of medical experience. She works at the "Oberig" clinic and serves as a volunteer doctor for FRIDA Ukraine

She graduated from O.O. Bohomolets National Medical University in 2000 and subsequently completed her surgical internship at P.L. Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education. In 2009, she obtained a specialization in oncological surgery, followed by a specialization in oncology in 2014. Between 2004 and 2009, she pursued postgraduate studies in oncology at the R.E. Kavetsky Institute of Experimental Pathology, Oncology, and Radiobiology, where she researched risk factors for breast cancer in women with benign tumors.  

She has participated in numerous international internships and training programs, including in Spain and Turkey. She has extensive expertise in mammography, ultrasound diagnostics, and breast reconstructive surgery.  

Beyond her medical practice, she is actively involved in educational efforts to promote breast cancer prevention. She supports initiatives for early disease detection and conducts awareness campaigns to emphasize the importance of regular screenings for women.
