Viktor Smal
Born on August 1, 1984 in Kyiv
He graduated from the Institute of International Relations at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with a degree in International Relations, earning the qualification of an international political scientist and Spanish language translator.
He also holds a degree in Forestry from the National Forestry University of Ukraine in Lviv.
His career includes work as an assistant-consultant to a Member of the Ukrainian Parliament, leading departments within international companies and developing own businesses – online stores selling diverse product groups.
He founded WebAnatomia, an IT agency specializing in web production for corporate clients, which notably developed one of Ukraine's first online auctions for unprocessed timber.
He developed the innovative IT project GLOICE – the world’s first geolocation messenger for mobile phones, designed to enable users worldwide to communicate with local residents.
From 2021 to 2023, he served as the Deputy Head of the State Forest Resources Agency of Ukraine for digital development, digital transformation, and digitization.
Since May 2023, he has been leading the State Forest Resources Agency of Ukraine.
