Some 156 Ukrainian servicemen treated in Spain as part of medical evacuation program
A total of 156 Ukrainian servicemen have already received treatment in Spain as part of the medical evacuation program Medevac.
As the Ministry of Health reports on its website following a meeting between First Deputy Minister Serhiy Dubrov and Director of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation Anton Leis and Ambassador of Spain to Ukraine Ricardo Lopez-Aranda Jagu, the Ministry of Health is ready to involve Spanish companies in a pilot public-private partnership (PPP) initiative, which provides for cooperation in the reconstruction of medical institutions, primarily the national children's hospital Okhmatdyt, the supply of medical equipment and the construction of modular hospitals.
In addition, the Ministry of Health will invite Spanish medical institutions to participate in an international medical partnership with Ukrainian medical institutions.
It is emphasized that over the past two years, aid from Spain to Ukraine has exceeded EUR 466 million.
