Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiha met with his French counterpart Jean-Noël Barrot in Italy to discuss ways to strengthen Ukraine and counter threats posed by Russia. The minister also thanked France for the decision to enable the use of long-range capabilities by Ukraine and the anticipated delivery of Mirage 2000.

"Meaningful talks with French counterpart Jean-Noël Barrot on ways to strengthen Ukraine, ensure long-term security in Europe, and counter threats posed by Russia. We appreciate France's defense assistance, decisions to enable our use of long-range capabilities, and the anticipated delivery of Mirage 2000," Sybiha said on the X social network on Tuesday.

As reported, the Foreign Minister of Ukraine is on a visit to Italy on November 25-26 to participate in the G7 ministerial.
