On the night of August 8-9, 2024, near the settlement of Chornomorske in the temporarily occupied Crimea, soldiers of the special forces of the Main Intelligence Agency (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Group 13, with the help of the MAGURA V5 marine drone, destroyed another vessel of the Russian occupiers - a high-speed boat of the KS 701 project of the Tunets type.

As a result of the operation, three more invaders' watercraft were also damaged, the type is being established, GUR reported on Saturday.

This is not the first Tuna shot off the coast of the peninsula: two Russian vessels of this type were destroyed by scouts, and two more were damaged in May this year.

The Russians used high-speed amphibious transport boats of the KS 701 project to patrol the water area and logistics in the occupied Crimea.

In total, 18 vessels of the aggressor state of Russia were successfully hit with the help of Ukrainian-made marine drones, nine of them were destroyed.
