Zelenskyy: Participants in Kursk region operation should receive payments, preferences – Zelenskyy
The Verkhovna Rada should meet as soon as possible to consider a number of urgent issues, including ensuring payments to participants in the operation in Kursk region, granting Ukrainian citizenship to legionnaires and resolving the issue of captured weapons, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said.
"We must clearly guarantee at the legislative level that our soldiers participating in the Kursk operation, for example, and participating in all our other actions on the territory of the aggressor state, will receive absolutely all payments and preferences provided for fighting on the front line. And it needs to be done precisely by law so that all our people have confidence that the state will work as it should," Zelenskyy said in a video message following a meeting of the Commander-in-Chief's Staff Headquarters on Thursday.
