Ukrainian Red Cross informs Canadian officials about organization's work in wartime
The leadership of the Ukrainian Red Cross has informed Canadian officials about the organization's work during the war.
"Director General of the Ukrainian Red Cross Maksym Dotsenko spoke about the organization's activities, the specifics of its mandate and coordination of work between different components of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement," the Ukrainian Red Cross said on Facebook on Monday.
Representatives of the Canadian Red Cross also took part in the meeting.
Also, the Ukrainian Red Cross delegation discussed with Canadian Minister of International Development Ahmed Hussen the needs of the population, the work of the Ukrainian Red Cross on the restoration of the destroyed infrastructure in Ukraine, and emergency response issues.
