Zelenskyy: Indian PM can influence end of war
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi can influence the end of the war, since he is the head of a very large state in terms of population, influence and economy, believes Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"Modi can influence the end of the war. This is his great value in any conflict. This is the great value of India, a billion and a half population, which has a real influence on this," Zelenskyy said in an interview for The Times of India, published on Monday.
According to the president, blocking the Russian economy, cheap energy resources, the work of the Russian defense industry will lead to a decrease in Russia's ability to fight, and will also give a shorter term to their war against Ukraine.
Zelenskyy is also confident that the G20 leaders, who are the heads of twenty major world economies, can "put Putin in place of ending the war." The President added that this is not a matter of talk, but of action, because the war is killing people daily.
