General Staff reports 191 combat clashes at front over past day, half on Pokrovsk, Kurakhove axes
Over the past 24 hours, 191 combat clashes were recorded on the fronts of the Russian-Ukrainian war, most of them occurred on the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove axes in Donetsk region, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) reported on Tuesday.
"On the Pokrovsk axis, our defenders stopped 51 assault operations of the aggressor. [...] On the Kurakhove axis, the defense forces repelled 46 attacks," it said on Facebook.
On the Kharkiv axis, Russian terrorists unsuccessfully stormed the positions of Ukrainian units five times. On the Kupyansk axis, there were 23 enemy attacks during the day.
On the Lyman axis, the invaders attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders eleven times, on the Kramatorsk axis – four times, on the Toretsk axis – six times, and there is one ongoing battle in the area.
On the Vremiv axis, the enemy made 13 assaults on Ukrainian positions. On the Orikhiv axis, the enemy attacked twice in the vicinity of Novoandriyivka.
The invaders unsuccessfully tried to dislodge the Ukrainian defense units from their positions on the Prydniprovsk axis three times.
