Brave1 developers create Ukrainian Mavic – Dpty PM Fedorov

Brave1 developers created the Ukrainian Mavic, Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Development of Education, Science and Technology – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov said.

"Since June, Brave1 participants have been working on an analogue of the Chinese Mavic. Three such Ukrainian UAVs already comply with NATO standards and operate at the front 'Linza' and 'Zoom' from Frontline and 'Shmavik' from 'Reactive Drones," Fedorov said in Telegram on Tuesday.

According to him, these drones are adapted to the realities of war, they have integrated communication systems that are resistant to enemy electronic warfare, and also have automatic landing and a "return home" mode. A significant part of the components is also produced by Ukrainian manufacturers.

"The defenders are already actively using these drones at the front and are giving great feedback," Fedorov said.

"The Mavic is one of the most popular drones at the front, it is simple, effective and cheap. It is a consumable for the military, a unit can lose five of these 'birds' per day. At the same time, Mavics are difficult and expensive to import, so the creation of a Ukrainian analogue is a top priority," the deputy prime minister said.
