Significant losses among the personnel of North Korean soldiers are recorded in Kursk region, the morale of the soldiers is falling, the Main Intelligence Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported.

"To replace losses and strengthen positions, Russian commanders are transferring new military personnel of the DPRK army to the front lines - on December 31 and January 1, groups of North Korean soldiers were moved to positions in the area of ​​​​the settlements of Ulanok, Fanaseyevka, and Cherkasskaya Konopelka in Kursk region," the Agency said in a message on the Telegram channel on Thursday.

It is noted that lower-level commanders (squad/platoon/company) are lying in reports to the high command about the real level of losses among the DPRK army. Meanwhile, the morale of North Korean soldiers has fallen.

"They are constantly being 'processed' with Russian-military propaganda about the 'great significance' of the DPRK army's participation in the war against Ukraine. On New Year's Eve, cases of alcohol abuse were recorded among North Korean soldiers, including those who are involved in combat operations," the report says.
