98 enemy UAVs shot down overnight, 20 drone simulators lost from location
Last night, the Ukrainian Defense Forces shot down 98 enemy UAVs out of 133 that attacked Ukrainian territory; Russian occupiers also launched three Iskander-M ballistic missile strikes on Odesa and Kryvyi Rih, the press service of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
"On the night of March 12, 2025 (from 19:00 on March 11), the enemy struck Odesa and Kryvyi Rih with three Iskander-M ballistic missiles from Crimea, and also attacked with 133 Shahed-type strike UAVs and various types of drone imitators from the following directions: Orel, Shatalovo, Millerovo, Kursk, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk of the Russian Federation, and from Chauda - Crimea," the Ukrainian Air Force said in a Telegram message on Wednesday.
It is reported that, according to preliminary data as of 09:30, 98 Shahed-type attack UAVs and other types of drones have been confirmed to shot down in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytsky, Vinnytsia, Ternopil, Rivne, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Odesa and Kherson regions.
Twenty enemy drone imitators were lost from location (without negative consequences).
It is noted that the air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As a result of the Russian attack, Odesa, Kharkiv, Sumy and Kyiv regions suffered.
