Govt agrees to attract EUR350 mln from CEDB, EIB for housing for IDPs and infrastructure

At a meeting on Tuesday, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine considered it appropriate to attract a EUR100 million loan from the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEDB) for the implementation of the project "HOME: Compensation for Destroyed Residential Properties," as well as EUR50 million for the implementation of the project "Housing for Internally Displaced Persons", the government's representative in parliament Taras Melnychuk reported on Telegram.

Also on Tuesday, the government considered it appropriate to attract a loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB) for the implementation of the project "Ukraine Water Recovery" in the amount of EUR100 million, and the same amount for the implementation of the project "Ukraine Recovery Program III" Tranche B, the purpose of which is to restore and modernize basic social services in the areas of education, healthcare, housing for internally displaced persons, social protection, as well as restore and modernize critical infrastructure in the territories that have suffered significant destruction and in the regions that have hosted the largest number of internally displaced persons.
