Seven regions, city of Kyiv hit by Russia, as of now more than ten dead – Shmyhal
Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal says that seven regions and the city of Kyiv were hit by the Russian Federation's night attack, as a result of which there are more than ten dead as of now.
"Another night of Russian terror. Missiles and hundreds of drones were fired at Ukrainian cities, at people who were sleeping peacefully in their homes. More than ten dead as of now. Sincere condolences to the relatives and friends. Seven regions and the city of Kyiv were hit. A residential building in the capital was partially destroyed. There are dead and wounded. Among the injured are children and a pregnant woman. All services are working at the scene of the attack, everyone will be provided with the necessary assistance," Shmyhal wrote on the Telegram channel.
The Prime Minister called on partners and allies to take tough action in response to Russian crimes.
"We need to hit the aggressor with sanctions on key economic sectors, we need more means of protection for Ukraine from enemy air targets. We must be decisive and united to counter the Russian threat," he added.
