President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who left for the UK on Monday, June 23, on a visit, intends to talk with partners about the basic principles of joint protection against terrorist attacks on civilians.

"Everyone in countries close to Russia, Iran, North Korea should think about whether they will be able to protect lives there if this coalition of killers persists and continues to spread terror," he wrote on Telegram on Monday in connection with the latest massive strike by the Russian Federation on Ukrainian cities, in particular, possibly using a North Korean-made ballistic missile.

"Today, during my visit to Britain, I will talk to our partners about exactly this - about our defense, which should become the basis for a much stronger joint defense. And we will also agree on new and strong steps to put pressure on Russia for this war and to stop the strikes," the president said.

He noted that "after the strikes on the nuclear program facilities in Iran, there was a lot of noise from Moscow - the Russian leadership demonstratively condemned the ‘missile and bomb’ steps. Today, Moscow is silent after the Russian army struck an absolutely cynical blow with Russian-Iranian Shaheds and missiles at the civilian infrastructure of Kyiv and our other cities and communities."
