MP, leader of the European Solidarity party Petro Poroshenko announced the start of cooperation with the command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the supply of Ai-Petri SV technical intelligence countermeasure complexes to the army.

"Today we are starting large-scale cooperation with the command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - we have agreed on the supply of these complexes. It is no longer a secret to anyone that Russian reconnaissance UAVs are searching for targets and adjusting missile strikes on them. The Ai-Petri complexes have proven themselves as a good countermeasure to these ‘birds:’ they detect and make them ‘blind.’ So, this time we are transferring the first complexes to the Ground Forces to perform combat missions," Poroshenko wrote on the social network X on Sunday.

According to him, five complexes were already sent to the units of the Ground Forces and one of the divisions of the Naval Forces on Sunday.

"We continue to work! Because the more complexes the Ukrainian army has, the more lives we will be able to save," Poroshenko noted.

As reported, since the autumn of 2023, Poroshenko has invested over UAH 200 million in production of the Ai-Petri SV systems, which have successfully passed tests and are already in use in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. For a long time, no state funding was allocated for this program, but in March 2025, Poroshenko announced a contract with the Ministry of Defense for their purchase. "At the same time, we will continue production and supply at our own expense," the politician said.

In 2024, it was reported that such complexes were transferred, in particular, to the 406th separate Almazov artillery brigade, the 148th artillery brigade, the 206th artillery brigade of the Ukrainian Navy, the 18th technical intelligence countermeasures center, and the Pivden Operational Command.
