Commander of 110th separate mechanized brigade killed in Russian strike on Huliai-Pole

As a result of the Russian strike on Huliai-Pole, the commander of the 110th separate mechanized brigade, Serhiy Zakharevych, and other guys from the brigade were killed, more than 30 people were wounded, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported.

"Today, the rubble from the attack on Huliai-Pole was being cleared all day. Unfortunately, there are casualties - both military and civilian. The commander of the 110th separate mechanized brigade, Colonel Zakharevych, and other guys from the brigade were killed. My condolences to all the relatives and friends," Zelenskyy said in an evening address on Tuesday.

According to him, a full investigation into the circumstances of this strike is ongoing, and the president is awaiting a report.

"Everyone who was wounded - and this was a missile strike - is being given the necessary assistance. More than 30 people were wounded. We will definitely respond to the Russians for this strike," the president said.

As reported, at 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, July 1, the Russians launched a missile strike on the settlement of Huliai-Pole in Dnipropetrovsk region.
