MP Khrystenko was Russian agent responsible for increasing Russian influence on NABU – SBU
Member of Parliament from the now banned Opposition Platform – For Life Fedir Khrystenko was an agent of the Russian Federation and was responsible for strengthening Russian influence on the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), the SBU has said.
"The Security Service of Ukraine and the Prosecutor General's Office have exposed MP Khrystenko of committing high treason. According to the case materials, this parliamentarian was a top agent of the Federal Security Service of Russia and was responsible for strengthening Russian influence on the NABU," the SBU said on Telegram on Monday. .
He has currently been notified in absentia of suspicion under the following articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: Part 2 of Article 28 Part 1, Part 2 of Article 111 (high treason committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons under martial law), and Part 2 of Article 369-2 (abuse of influence).
