URCS helps evacuate residents of Korabel district in Kherson

The Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) in Kherson is helping to evacuate residents of the Korabel neighborhood after an airstrike by the Russian occupation army on the Ostriv Bridge.
"Following the recent strikes on the bridge connecting Ostriv with other areas of the city, local authorities have called on residents to leave the area. The evacuation is being carried out by the Ukrainian Red Cross rapid response unit in the Kherson region together with other special services and volunteers," URCS said on Facebook.
Volunteers are helping people get to safer places — temporary shelters, hospitals, or to their relatives — in territory controlled by the government of Ukraine.
During the evacuation, people receive support, water, food, and, if necessary, first aid and psychological support. Volunteers are also evacuating pets.
According to the Kherson Regional State Administration, as of Tuesday evening, together with the police, rescuers and volunteers, 754 people, including 49 children and 85 people with limited mobility, were evacuated from the dangerous area during four days of evacuation. As reported, the Russian occupation army launched an airstrike on the Ostrivsky Bridge in Kherson on Sunday.
