PM declares guarantees of level playing field at meeting with ESB, business

Guaranteeing a level playing field for all market participants, fair competition, the absence of any bureaucratic pressure on honest business – these are the joint tasks declared by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko at a meeting with the team of the Economic Security Bureau (ESB) and business associations.

"We all agree that the special role of ESB, primarily as an analytical body, will contribute to identifying systemic threats to the economy, protecting honest business, and preventing violations," she wrote on Telegram following the conversation.

Svyrydenko believes that the ability to finance defense and fulfill social obligations to Ukrainians depends on effective business, so she once again promised deregulation and at the same time de-shadowing measures in Ukraine, as two elements necessary for tangible economic growth.

"We agreed that we will act in a coordinated manner," the prime minister concluded.

According to the ESB release, the meeting was also attended by leading industry business associations and members of the Council for Entrepreneurship Support. The photo, among others, shows founder of the EFI Group investment company Ihor Liski, CEO of the Aurora network Taras Panasenko, and founder of KAN Development Ihor Nikonov.

"The meeting discussed problematic issues that concern businesses in various sectors, expectations from the Economic Security Bureau, and building partnership relations between entrepreneurs and the state," the Bureau briefly described it.
