Ukrainian MiG-29 pilot dies at night - Air Force

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports the death of MiG-29 fighter pilot Serhiy Bondar on Saturday night after completing a combat mission.

"On the night of August 23, 2025, after completing a combat mission, Major Serhiy Viktorovych Bondar, born in 1979, died while approaching for landing. The causes and circumstances of the disaster are being established," the Air Force Telegram channel reported.
