Svyrydenko begins working visit to Denmark

Prime Minister Yulia Svirydenko, together with the government team, has started a working visit to Denmark.
"Together with the team, I began a working visit to Denmark... The first foreign visit in a new role is to Copenhagen, as Denmark currently holds the presidency of the Council of the EU. We expect that the opening of the first negotiation clusters will be our joint achievement. On the eve of important negotiations with the EU in September, it is important to use the time as efficiently as possible to make all decisions," Svirydenko said on Telegram on Wednesday.
According to her, the program includes meetings with Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, Minister of Industry, Business and Finance Morten Bødskov, and leading Danish and international companies.
"We are grateful to Denmark for its consistent and principled support for Ukraine. During the first official meeting, Minister Bødskov announced Denmark's intention to contribute at least 500 million Danish kroner to the Fund for Ukraine for reconstruction projects," she added. Svyrydenko recalled that since the start of the full-scale aggression, Ukraine has received about EUR 9 billion in military assistance and EUR 907 million in civilian contributions from the Danish government.
