The number of deaths in Yarova (Lymansk community, Donetsk region), which was hit by enemy KABs (KAB stands for Korrektiruyemaya Aviatsionnaya Bomba, which translates to Correctable Aerial Bomb), has increased to 23.

As of 13:50, there are at least 18 people wounded, according to Lymansk City Military Administration head Oleksandr Zhuravlev.

"At 10:40 there was an arrival, KAB-250, approximately. The place of the hit was just where Ukrposhta was issuing pensions to the population. At the moment, 23 people have died and 18 are wounded. Various conditions. There are three serious, the others are more or less, they were taken to Sloviansk to stabilize," he told told Suspilne (Pubic) TV.

According to him, the National Police, the State Emergency Service, the military, and military administration employees continue to work at the site of the hit to establish the exact number of wounded and killed from the shelling. Most of the dead are people of retirement age.

"We are now examining every yard around, near the place of the strike. We are going around every yard with the police, the military," Zhuravlev said.

As reported, on Tuesday, September 9, in the morning, Russian troops launched an airstrike on a mobile post office of Ukrposhta in the village of Yarova in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian President Zelenskyy said more than 20 people who came to receive pensions were killed.
