On Tuesday night, fighters from the Alpha Special Operations Center of the State Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), together with the Security and Defense Forces, struck a number of military and logistics facilities of the Novorossiysk seaport (Krasnodar Territory, Russia) with long-range drones, a source in the SBU told Interfax-Ukraine.

"Hits were recorded on the infrastructure of the oil terminal (oil tankers and manifolds) and on the positions of the S-300/S-400 air defense systems. According to preliminary data, a large landing ship of project 1171, which was located near the berth of the naval base, was also damaged," the agency's interlocutor noted.

According to him, the SBU conducted the operation jointly with military intelligence (GUR), the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, nnmanned Systems Forces, the State Border Guard Service and the coastal missile and artillery troops of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The source specified that during the attack, the Russian air defense was actively working on the civilian infrastructure of Novorossiysk - the video shows repeated hits of the Pantsir missiles on residential buildings.

The port of Novorossiysk, as the interlocutor emphasized, is the second largest oil export center in Russia and the main base of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.

"The SBU continues to methodically reduce Russia's petrodollar revenues, with which it finances the war against Ukraine, as well as to weaken the enemy's air defense systems that protect key military and infrastructure facilities of the enemy," the SBU source said.
