Zelenskyy calls Florida peace talks constructive, says work will continue
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that the peace negotiations of the Ukrainian delegation in Florida were constructive and focused on protecting the sovereignty and interests of Ukraine.
"Today, after the completion of the work of the teams in America, the head of the Ukrainian delegation Rustem Umerov reported on the main parameters of the dialogue, accents and some results. It is important that there is constructiveness in the conversation, and all issues at the meetings were discussed frankly and aimed at ensuring the sovereignty and national interests of Ukraine," Zelenskyy said on Telegram.
He thanked the United States and President Donald Trump and his team for the time that is so intensively invested in determining steps to end the war. "We will continue to work. I look forward to a full report from our team during a personal meeting," Zelenskyy noted.
