URCS assists victims of Russian air assault in Zhytomyr region
The Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) has provided assistance to victims and rescuers in the Zhytomyr region after a Russian air strike.
"URCS provided assistance at the scene of the attack. Volunteers of the Ukrainian Red Cross rapid response team in the Zhytomyr region set up an aid station where they provided necessary support to victims and rescuers involved in the response throughout yesterday," URCS said on Facebook on Tuesday.
In addition, local residents could drink hot tea, charge gadgets and warm up in the URC tent.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, as a result of a Russian drone attack on energy and transport infrastructure facilities in the region, an accident occurred on the railway tracks, four employees of Ukrzaliznytsia were injured.
