Working group has been created in Kyiv to verify cogeneration plants, generators and other equipment
The government has created a working group to verify cogeneration plants, generators and other equipment in Kyiv, Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine - Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksiy Kuleba has said.
"A separate decision was made to create a working group to verify cogeneration plants, generators and other equipment - in order to see the real picture in each district of Kyiv and use available resources as efficiently as possible," he wrote following the results of a government meeting on energy security on Wednesday.
As reported, as of Wednesday morning, January 21, about 4,000 buildings in Kyiv remain without heating, and almost 60% of the capital is without electricity. This was reported by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. "According to reports from the city authorities, the forces involved are sufficient, but it takes time. I disagree with this assessment - additional measures are needed, additional resources are involved," the president said.
