Michel on attack on Odesa during Zelenskyy, Greek PM's visit: Another sign of Russia's cowardly tactic
European Council President Charles Michel condemned the Russian attack on Odesa during a visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Wednesday, March 6, calling it "another sign of Russia's cowardly tactic."
"The attack on #Odesa during President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis visit is another sign of Russia's cowardly tactics in its war of aggression against Ukraine. This is reprehensible and below even the Kremlin's playbook. The EU's full support to Ukraine and its brave people will not waver," Michel said on the X social network.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Russian army attacked Odesa with a missile while Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis was visiting the city, who was scheduled to meet with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy.
