One person killed, eight injured due to evening enemy shelling of Bohodukhivsky district of Kharkiv region - Prosecutor's Office
As a result of an enemy strike on Bohodukhiv in Kharkiv region, one person was killed and eight injured, including a teenager, the Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO) reported on Thursday.
"According to the investigation, at about 15:30 on August 22, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation fired at Bohodukhiv. A 56-year-old man was killed. Eight other people were injured, including a 15-year-old boy. The minor was hospitalized with a shrapnel wound to his left arm. Multi-apartment and private residential buildings, outbuildings, premises of two civilian enterprises, cars were damaged," the Telegram says.
It is also clarified that as a result of the shelling, a fire broke out in a forest area near the village of Semeniv Yar of Bohodukhivsky district with an area of 3 hectares, the elimination of the fire continues.
According to preliminary data, the Russian troops used Tornado-S MLRS for strikes.
Under the procedural lguidance of Bohodukhiv District Prosecutor's Office of Kharkiv region, a pretrial investigation has been launched into violations of the laws and customs of war connected with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
