Kyiv transfers 750 drones of different types to Ukrainian defenders – Klitschko
The community of Kyiv transferred 750 drones of different types to the fighters of the separate presidential brigade named after Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytsky of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mayor of the capital Vitali Klitschko said.
"In particular, 100 Mavic 3T UAVs, 250 Mavic 3 PRO and 400 FPV10 drones were sent to the front line," Klitschko said in the Telegram channel.
In total, Kyiv allocated UAH 100 million for the needs of the brigade in 2024.
"These funds are used to purchase essential equipment that helps the defenders destroy the enemy," the mayor said.
He said the brigade's fighters defended Kyiv and its suburbs in February-March 2022. After the liberation of the occupied cities and towns of Kyiv region, the brigade fought the enemy in the Kharkiv region, as well as in Donbas – near Bakhmut and Avdiivka, and continues to defend Ukraine in the hottest areas of the front.
In total, in 2024, the capital has already allocated UAH 8.6 billion to help the military. In September alone, we transferred 1,700 Mavic drones of various types to the front from Kyiv community.
