Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy once again emphasizes the need to allow the use of Western weapons for strikes deep into the territory of the aggressor.

"Constant terrorist strikes on Ukrainian cities prove that the pressure on Russia and its accomplices is not enough. Today, since four in the morning, air raid sirens have been in effect in Ukrainian cities. Unfortunately, due to the attack by Russian drones, there are damages and casualties in different districts of Kyiv. There were also strikes and damages in Poltava, Sumy and Kharkiv regions," Zelenskyy wrote on Telegram on Saturday morning.

"I thank our sky defenders who shoot down Shaheds every night. This year, almost every night, sometimes morning and day there is the threat of Shaheds. The attack drones that Iran gave Russia and which have become one of the main weapons of Russian terror against Ukraine," the president emphasized.

"We need more pressure on Russia's ability to produce such weapons. We need the ability to destroy both the storage bases for Shaheds and the entire existing infrastructure for their production and logistics. Terrorists, unfortunately, know how to use the time that the indecisiveness of the free world gives them," the Ukrainian leader said.
