Ukraine shoots down 32 of 49 Russian drones in overnight barrage – Air Force

Air defenses eliminated 32 of 49 enemy drones at night, as well as two Iskander ballistic missiles, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has said.
"According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defenses shot down/suppressed 34 targets: 2 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles and 32 enemy Shahed UAVs and drone simulators of various types in the north and east of the country," the report said.
As reported, on the night of August 13 (from 21:00 on August 12), the enemy attacked with 49 Shahed attack UAVs and drone simulators of various types from the directions: Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Shatalovo - Russian Federation, as well as two Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from the Kursk region, Russian Federation.
The Donetsk, Sumy and Chernihiv regions were attacked with strike UAVs, and the Poltava region with missiles.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
