Air Force neutralizes 438 enemy drones overnight, 1 Kinzhal, 5 Iskander and Kalibr, 3 ballistic Iskander-M, hits at 15 locations
On the night of Tuesday, the defense forces neutralized 452 air targets, including one Kinzhal aeroballistic missile, five Iskander-K cruise missiles; five Kalibr cruise missiles; three Iskander-M ballistic missiles, as well as 438 enemy UAVs, the press service of the Air Force of the Armed Forces reported.
"On the night of November 25 (from 18:00 on November 24), the enemy launched a combined strike on the objects of critical infrastructure of Ukraine using strike UAVs, air-, sea- and ground-based missiles. In total, the radio-technical troops of the Air Force detected and escorted 486 air attack vehicles - 22 missiles and 464 UAVs of various types," the press service said.
According to preliminary data, as of 10:00, air defense systems shot down/suppressed 452 air targets: 438 enemy Shahed and Gerber UAVs (other types of UAVs), one Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missile, five Iskander-K cruise missiles, five Kalibr cruise missiles and three Iskander-M ballistic missiles.
It is reported that missile hits and 26 strike UAVs were recorded at 15 locations, as well as the fall of downed UAVs (fragments) at 12 locations.
The press service provides the following data regarding the means by which the Russians attacked the territory of Ukraine at night. These are:
- 464 Shahed, Gerbera type strike UAVs (drones of other types) from the directions of Shatalovo, Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russia, Gvardiyske – temporarily occupied Crimea (about 250 of them are Shahed UAVs),
- four Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles (launch area: Ryazan region – Russia),
- seven Iskander-K cruise missiles (launch areas: Kursk region – Russia),
- eight Kaliber cruise missiles (from the Black Sea),
- three Iskander-M ballistic missiles (launch area: Bryansk region – Russia).
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
