Zelenskyy after Umerov's report: documents developed on security guarantees, reconstruction and basic framework for ending the war
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported on documents developed jointly with the team of US President Donald Trump on security guarantees for Ukraine, restoration and the basic framework for ending this war.
"A detailed report by Rustem Umerov and Andriy Hnatov on the results of meetings with the American team. We worked productively with representatives of President Trump, and drafts of several documents have now been prepared. In particular, there are documents on security guarantees for Ukraine, restoration and the basic framework for ending this war," Zelensky wrote on the Telegram channel on Tuesday.
According to him, "the points for today have been fixed in such a way that it corresponds to the task of a real end to the war and the need to prevent a third Russian invasion. Each round of negotiations and meetings adds security to Ukrainian interests, and this is how we will continue this work constructively."
"I am also grateful to European partners for their support and coordination. We look forward to continuing the dialogue with America," Zelenskyy stressed.
According to him, it is now important that "diplomacy always goes hand in hand with the necessary pressure on Russia and the necessary support for Ukraine. Every Russian strike on Ukraine and intensive Russian assaults on the front prove that Ukraine's determination to end the war is significantly superior to Russia's, and this must be corrected by increasing world pressure on the aggressor.
