Syrsky, Umerov discuss AFU's urgent needs with UK Defence Secretary
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky and Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov held a conversation with British Secretary of State for Defence Grant Shapps and Commander of the Armed Forces Admiral Sir Anthony Radakin, during which the commander-in-chief briefed the parties about the "operational situation and pressing needs."
"We also discussed the possibilities of implementation within the Maritime Capability Coalition. We must scale up Ukraine's successes in destroying the Russian fleet," Syrsky said on his Telegram page on Monday evening.
The AFU Commander-in-Chief expressed gratitude to the UK for allocating GBP 200 million for the production of drones for Ukraine.
"This is significant assistance," Syrsky said.
