HACC slashes bail for ex-Lviv Supreme Court judge by 15 times – AntAC

Investigating judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court Viktor Maslov partially satisfied the defense attorney’s request and reduced the bail amount for former judge of the Cassation Economic Court of the Supreme Court Bohdan Lvov to UAH 20 million, the anti-corruption center (AntAC) has said.

Earlier, the Shevchenkivskyi Court of Kyiv took Lvov into custody with an alternative bail of over UAH 302 million. Subsequently, investigating judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court Andriy Bitsiuk changed the preventive measure and released the suspect from custody, leaving the bail in the same amount, AntAC said on Telegram on Monday.

The reasons for such a decision will be known after the full text of the decision is published. AntAC said Lvov has Russian citizenship, which is why he was dismissed from his position as a judge in 2022. But so far he has not been deprived of Ukrainian citizenship.

According to the investigation, he is suspected of involvement in the "Medvedchuk pipeline" case, according to AntAC.
